f the Leuchs Emeritus Group\, a scientific symposium will be held from Jun
e 25 to 26\, 2026.\nOver the course of two days\, leading international sc
ientists and colleagues of Gerd Leuchs will offer insights into current de
velopments in the fields of quantum sciences and technologies as well as m
odern optics\, under the theme “Light\, Lasers & Quanta”.\nIn addition
to scientific talks and panel discussions\, the symposium will place a sp
ecial focus on scientific and personal exchange between participants and s
peakers.\nThe event celebrates the remarkable scientific career and lastin
g legacy of the Institute’s emeritus founding director. With his groundb
reaking contributions and influential personality\, Gerd Leuchs has signif
icantly shaped the field of light science. Bringing together researchers f
